Visa Exemption (Free — No Visa Required)
Over 60 nationalities receive FREE visa exemption for 60 days upon arrival (extended from the previous 30 days in 2024). Eligible countries include: UK, USA, EU member states, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and many others.
You can extend once at an immigration office for an additional 30 days for THB 1,900 (~$53).
Tourist Visa (TR) — For Longer Stays
Single Entry: THB 2,000 (~$57) — Valid 3 months, allows 60-day stay Multiple Entry: THB 5,000 (~$143) — Valid 6 months, 60 days per entry
Thai e-Visa
Many countries can now apply for a Thai tourist visa online via the official e-Visa portal before travel. Processing takes 3–5 business days.
