Visa & Entry Requirements for the United States
The United States requires almost all international visitors to have pre-clearance (ESTA) or a B1/B2 tourist visa.
Passport Validity
Your passport must be valid for at least **6 months** beyond your period of stay in the United States (unless your country is exempt under the '6-Month Club' agreement).
Entry Options
- **ESTA (Visa Waiver Program):** Citizens of 41 participating countries (including the UK, EU, Australia, Japan, South Korea) can apply for an **ESTA** online at least 72 hours before departure for stays up to 90 days.
- **B1/B2 Tourist Visa:** If you do not qualify for ESTA, you must complete the DS-160 form, pay the visa fee, and schedule an in-person interview at a US Embassy or Consulate.
