Step-by-Step Application Roadmap for United States
Follow this verified consular procedure to ensure complete compliance and minimize refusal risk.
Step 1: Fill Up the US Visa Application Online
Go to the US visa online application portal to fill up the DS-160 form. Carefully fill up all the required information. Any mistakes in the application form can create your US visa complications or cause rejection.
Step 2: Pay Your US Visa Fee
Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) processes US visa fees in Bangladesh. Applicants need to visit any branch of EBL or pay them online. First, you need to create a CGI Federal profile and generate an invoice with the appropriate visa category. If you want to pay your visa fee in the EBL branch, bring a printed copy of the invoice and your passport. If you are an existing EBL account holder, you can pay your visa fees online through their Sky Banking app. Remember, you cannot pay your visa fees through any Debit or Credit card.
Step 3: Make an Appointment Request
After you pay your visa fees, you need to visit the United State visa portal website to make an appointment. You cannot make an appointment request before paying your visa fees.
Step 4: Collect Documents for The US
Gather all required documents, and organize and translate the documents into English. Notarize the translated documents. You need to bring them to the interview in person at the US Embassy.
Step 5: Submit Your Biometrics
You need to provide your biometrics for the US visa application at the US Embassy in Bangladesh. Your biometric will be taken on the day of your interview.
Step 6: Wait for The Visa Decision
When the US visa application is done, all you need to do is wait for the visa decision. Collect your passport after the visa decision comes out.
